Stroller Running – My Favs for Successful Run with Baby!

My top favs for running with a happy baby!

I know how difficult it can be when you’re finally able to get out the door with your new training partner – your precious little one, and you’re returning home 10 or even 5 minutes later with one (or both) of you in tears. You’re probably wondering will I ever be able to run with them in the jogging stroller.

The answer is YES, mama! You will. lt may take time – it took us until baby girl was about 7.5 months old before she was ready to be in the jogging stroller. I really think that attributed to her not being able to see me and having to face forward. But I also found these gems I want to share with you that helped us along the way – she’s 11 months now.

Find the right jogging stroller for you! I did so much research before I landed on the Thule Glide 2 Performance Jogging Stroller. I knew I needed something safe and something that would standup to the mileage I was planning to put on it. So far I have absolutly loved this stroller. I’ll do a more in depth review soon!

The perfect stroller organizer! This is perfect for carrying all your hydration needs, baby’s snacks, mama’s snacks, wipes, diapers, and all the goodies! I easily move this from my jogging stroller to our every day stroller. I love it so much I’ve thought about buying an extra one – one for each stroller!

Baby sunscreen is a must! They may be mostly covered by the stroller covering but those little legs are not. And let’s not get into the phase where they will not keep any socks on. We don’t want sunburnt baby feet! I’ve really liked this sunscreen and it’s got a lovely light scent to it!

A special toy just for runs! My baby girl absolutely loves this toy! It keeps her busy my entire run… Until she falls alseep. The little lamb even sings “Twinkle Twinkle” when you push it. I actually move this toy back and forth to our every day stroller too!

SNACKS! As she’s gotten bigger, it’s become more and more helpful to have snacks! Right now, these are her favorites! They’re sugar free and have great ingredients! What more could I ask for! I give these to her when she starts to get fussy.

Let me know if you try any of these and what you think! What other favorites do you have to share with other mama’s struggling to get a run in with their little one?
